The baby is home!

She's here and we are stoked! We haven't seen it before this, so it was such a nice surprise to notice how well it fits in our hands and weights just enough but not too much. :) We can't wait to learn new things with baby Canon Eos 77D, there's just one more step before that -buying a memory card, about which we know nothing about.. But we'll figure that out that soon, so we can get started with shooting.

We also have the basic kit lense, but as soon as we learn how to handle this precious thing and most of its qualities/settings, we will probably end up upgrading.

This is soooo exiting!!!

Congratulations on the new baby!

I guess that uses basic SD memory cards and even though I'm not an expert, try to ask from store for a fast and reliable one. The speed helps especially if you're doing RAW photography, as the files tend to get quite large so it's more fluent to use with a fast memory card.

Unless you're planning to go to a long trip, you will not need a very large one (8-16 GB might be enough). But this again depends on if you're going to do RAW photography and how long photography trips you're going to do. Nobody wants a camera which can fit only 100 photos.

If interested, you can read a bit about manual photography here.

Hey thanks for the tip @apsu! :) I think I'll end up doing RAW so fast will suit for my needs better. The trip is also going to be a long one, since we'll quit our jobs and at first go to Italy for the fall and then head to Asia for the winter/ early spring. And it's not necessary to come back even then, because we are planning on renting our place anyways and there's nothing keeping us here. So large memory card would be nice, if we don't end up buying two but that's probably not so good idea as buying one that's bigger..
