RE: What phenomenon is this?

in #can2 months ago

You're just repeating yourself now. We're bringing in tens of new users weekly through our onboarding alone not to mention what other front-ends and initiatives might be doing. Just because a few bad actors who've farmed hive rewards through shitposts may get mad about a few downvotes because they can't keep leeching like they've been doing for years and leave does not mean we're worse off. It's probably much better this way and people realize that you gotta work to get some value from inflation, not just be here posting garbage no one consumes and hope to get away with it forever.

Goodbye.

That's the thing. You may think my posts and others are shitposts. That's ok, I also think your posts are shitposts. People have different opinions. If you don't like the posts don't vote for them. Why go out of your way to DV those posts that other people enjoy? My posts took a lot of effort. Probably more than yours. They made 30x less. And now they make 0.

Bringing new users in the magnitude of 2 digits per week now that's amazing! I'm sure that's gonna do it for Hive's price to no longer be increasing and decreasing between 20 cents and 22 cents! Even out of those, take away the ones that came from Splinterlands spellbook purchases and alts and it probably falls in the single digits.

A screenshot of one of hundred of thousands of daily splinterlands battles with some text of what happened is content worth a lot of effort to you?

Why is no one consuming it then? You can see the other example here of Flummi's posts, now that's effort and genuine engagement.

You're not even bothering to fake engagement like some others do yet you're defending your posts, it's laughable and no one in their right mind is going to want to counter them getting downvoted.

Ye ye we get it hive will never get bigger, hive will die, etc, etc, go enjoy steem or web2 instead.

Each post is about a different game. Each post is written from scratch except for the very short part the same. Yes, it takes effort. I have the choose a game to showcase, which can be pretty fast but can also take longer. And the writing takes around 20 minutes. I also try to make sure there are no spelling mistakes or anything like that. It is worth $30? I don't think so. There's probably less than 100 posts on Hive that were ever worth that much. Are they worth the $1 that I was earning? I think so, even a little more than that.

You make the assumption that not getting comments means it's not a good post. That's not true. Just look at posts in the Splinterlands community. Almost all of them have only automated comments. I read many of them and leave votes but I don't comment and most do the same.

Just look at the official Splinterlands' posts about the weekly contests. Those are literally copy paste every week. The only engagement they get is the replies with the entries. It gets a ton of upvotes. O don't see anyone DVing them.

What is that supposed to mean?

Another giveaway farmer who magically just spam upvoted you alone after he was downvoted, suspicious. :)

Ok and? You're wanting to make the connection of them to me?

I remember there was a time I started seeing that person upvote a bunch of my comments. I don't know why they started or why they stopped. I assumed it was because they had been DVed by someone who also DVed me so they were sharing some votes with me. It was positive for me so I didn't bother to ask.

Okay, you're not going to gain anything from spamming my posts, I suggest you go and try build some genuine connections with other people and then maybe put some more effort into your posts. It's not like you're doing a lot of other stuff that benefits hive behind the scenes, so you gotta work harder to earn rewards.

I know I don't gain anything with these comments. I'm not spamming, though. I'm doing what you want: engaging.

There is literally 0 point in building genuine connections. Connections on Hive are about interest. AZ without money is someone who not even his own family would ever want to have anything to do with.

You may not like my posts, but I put effort into them. Other people like them. There's also no point in building anything when my posts are getting a $7 DV no matter what. I might as well start with an alt but what's the point? I don't want to write about anything other than Splinterlands. Live and let live. It's something hive whales don't understand.
