Its official! The Tesla model 3 is now the Number one selling electric car.
Tesla Inc. released its production numbers for the first quarter 2018. The company delivered 8,180 Model 3s in the first three months of the year. That compares with 6,468 deliveries for Toyota Motor Corp.’s Prius Prime plug-in hybrid and 4,375 for General Motors Co.’s Chevy Bolt.

With these numbers and this price and that price tag, I personally would much rather have the model three over its price tag competitors. one thing I do now about Teslas, is that the maintenance can be astronimical after warranty is up. Make sure if you're in the market for a new one you opted in for that extended warranty!
