Deadman Wonderland was an anime that i had been procrastinating for the past couple of years now I've started i cant get enough.It is actually quite cool.
The story goes that a kid is wrongfully imprisoned for killing all of his classmates, he's imprisoned.But its no ordinary prison it's Deadman Wonderland and a private prison (the only in japan) that doubles up as a theme park in which prisoners compete in challenges for the entertainment of the public to get points which are then exchanged for antidot in which the need to eat to survive. The anime follows this kid as he tries to clear his name and get out.
I recommend everyone watch it if you've read my other posts you'll know that i'm a fan of the slice of life genre but this anime really appeals to me and if you haven't watched anime before you should really start and watch this one
now the characters in this anime are all really developed except the protagonist Ganta Igarashi who i find quite childish
and Shiro who is childish and is quite naive and very strong so an interesting mix, her childlike wonder is awesome but there isn't as much character development as there could be
all the other characters are awesome though
and i give this series a solid 8/10

Never got to finish watching that anime, it looked good thought.
I'm a little nervous to watch it. It's kind of old, and no second season. Does it leave you wanting more, or does it have a satisfying ending?
