Since it's been a while, I wanted to introduce our 3 new adopted kittens

Happy #Caturday !

After losing two beloved elderly cats (Samantha and Sonic), I was just totally drained. Even though I tried posting, I just felt totally empty in every way.

Hero and Lisa were missing kitty company, and after a couple months alone, I finally found out about a bunch of kittens that needed a home quickly. So I adopted the whole litter of 3 kittens and brought them home on May 30, 2022.

At the time, they were 2 1/2 months, but quite big for that age already. They were happy and not worried about anything. None of them was upset. The first thing they did was stuff their little faces properly and then they played for hours, while also making friends with Hero and Lisa. They felt right at home within the first hours. It was beautiful.

Hero befriended little Sonic right away:

And he befriended Lily, while showing his tummy to reassure her that he means no harm to her, since she was a bit worried for a moment:

Of course he befriended Leo too and off they went, hanging out together not long afterwards:

Lisa followed and befriended all the kittens. Here she's giving Leo a clean:

Little Sonic

I named this sweet boy "Little Sonic" in honour and remembrance of Sonic Senior and because of how similar his behaviour and personality is to Sonic Senior. He has the same little special quirks, it's astounding.
The same thing is true for Lily btw. Lily is so similar to Samantha. Personality wise, same behaviours and little quirks, as well as the same movements that were special to Samantha.

These 5 cats helped me out of my hole and now I'm truly back to my old self.

Also sending some purrs to @krazzytrukker and beautiful Sammi Jo @krazzy-kitty

Thank you all for stopping by and your patience in still following me.

Great Post. So glad to hear of the adoption and how smoothly it went. They usually do not go that well.

Thank you! It really was amazing how well it went. The good thing is that Hero and Lisa are very social and enjoy other cats company. The fact that the 3 were just kittens also helped I think. Hero and Lisa started cleaning them and everything. It's so great to have all 5 now. They really fill my life with so much joy.

Hope you and Sammi Jo are doing well!
