Hi Friends,
As you likely know, the US celebrated its birthday today. It is certainly a different world than it was a year ago with the coronavirus restrictions and it seems each year race issues and political issues continue to get more intense, but like so many of you, I am proud of the country I come from and enjoy celebrating its Independence Day.
We had a little block party with our neighbors is a social distancing sort of way, which meant no potluck style food this year and less mingling/chatting, but still a good time. We managed to shoot off a few fireworks and enjoyed a nice evening.
So happy birthday to the USA! Thanks for coming by and I hope each of you have a good weekend!
