In my opinion adult people with well working brains need not to be "saved". They aren't sheep which have to wait for orders from above. I know better than any arrogate politician what is good for me and what isn't.
I actually accept not do anything which restricts the freedom of others, but for example betting with my own money or watching pornographic content in my own house doesn't hurt anybody else. It's my private decision if I like it or not.
If governments (and also parents) wants to do something good, they should increase efforts in educating people. For example in Indonesia people are smoking a lot, it seems they are just not aware of the health risks. Other than in China people are not aware of the advantages of electric cars and bikes, I very rarely see solar cells to produce electricity. There is no functioning public transportation and a lot of pollution (for example thrown away plastic). There are so many things which should urgently be improved, but instead of that government cares about if I bet on soccer ... :)
However, thanks for your opinion - it's your freedom to have a different opinion than me and not being flagged/censored (see how important freedom is). :-)
