On the first of May 2012 I took a one-day trip to the north of Bohemia.
I took a free day and set out early in the morning by train to Bílina. The weather was nice and the visibility was satisfactory. At the top of this mountain will be a wonderful view ...
First sight of this majestic phonolite hill 539 meters high. It is the largest phonolite formation in Central Europe.
The mountain rises above the river Bílina.
Na prvního máje roku 2012 jsem absolvoval jednodenní výlet na sever Čech.
Využil jsem volného dne a vyrazil brzy ráno vlakem až do města Bíliny. Počasí mi přálo a viditelnost byla uspokojivá. Na vrcholu této hory bude nádherný výhled...
První pohled na tento majestátní znělcový vrch vysoký 539 metrů. Jedná se o největší znělcový útvar ve střední Evropě.
Hora se vypíná nad řekou Bílinou.
In the town of Bílina I look at the square of the New Town Hall, Art Nouveau buildings from 1908-11 according to a project by the Viennese architect Schmied. The tower measures 57 meters.
Ve městě Bílina si prohlížím na náměstí věž Nové radnice, secesní stavby z let 1908–11 dle projektu vídeňského architekta Schmieda. Věž měří 57 metrů.
And here we can see it along with the plague column.
A zde si jí můžeme prohlédnou spolu s morovým sloupem.
I continue around the church of st. Peter and Paul. This originally Gothic archdeacon church was rebuilt in 1872.
Pokračuji okolo kostela sv. Petra a Pavla. Tento původně gotický arciděkanský kostel byl přestavěn v roce 1872.
On the perimeter wall of this temple I find the tombstone of Kristyna Zahrádkovna from Divice.
Na obvodové zdi tohoto chrámu nalézám náhrobník Kristyny Zahrádkovny z Divic.
I try to take a picture of it in a strong HDR version. It will show more details.
Zkouším ho vyfotit i v silném HDR provedení. Vynikne na něm více detailů.
In the next post we take a look at the castle and head for Mount Bořeň. Prepare solid shoes and a desire to climb;)
V dalším postu se podíváme k zámku a začneme mířit na horu Bořeň. Připravte si pevnou obuv a chuť stoupat do výšin ;)
