Promo-Mentors Challenge
In the spirit of our mission to change the world positively through the power of the Steem blockchain, we have set up challenges for our members. These challenges are meant to help people bring out their best potential through entertaining activities and simple writing assignments. By participating in these challenges people will have the chance to be scouted by us.
Part of the rewards we get from this post will be used to find promising Steemians and to fund (small) initiatives.

This week, we want to continue on our path to making this world a better place, but we know that it’s extremely hard to make a significant change alone. Therefore, one of the most effective ways to make an impact is to support an existing charity, group or project which dedicates its time and energy to helping others. Fortunately for us, there are many projects on Steemit that are dedicated to good causes, and one already comes to my mind… hint, it starts with promo, and ends with mentors =).
Joke aside, there are so many good projects on Steemit that it can be hard to choose from, and this is where this contest comes in.
We would like you to write about your favorite project, company or charity, and explain to us why you think that people should get involved in it. The best responses will win parts of the proceeds of this post (see below).

Once again you guys have made it very hard for us to choose the winners. All of you had great role models in life, and have explained why these persons were so important to you. Since @futurethinker and I had to make a selection somehow, we chose the ones that had role models other than their parents. If you didn’t win this time around, please don’t lose motivation. You’ll have a new chance to win this week!
The winners of challenge #2 (in no particular order) are:
@vintageverve, who’s number 1 female role model was her aunt by showing her what it means to be a strong and independent woman
@winningman, who owes his dream to become a doctor to his older cousin in the US, and had a fantastic chemistry teacher to help him along the way.
@romeskie, whose highschool teacher wrongly predicted that she would end up a failure, as well as her husband who got her into leading a healthy and fit lifestyle.

Oh! This initiative really has made me too happy because helping others is the number one principle of steemit and motivates too much the fact of being able to do something to contribute.
Here I leave my participation, which although the challenge stipulates that they should be initiatives unrelated to one, I think my personal project within steemit could like you, so I invite you to read it carefully.
