There are many projects going on right now in the world of blockchain. Lots of great ideas floating around with smart contracts and decentralized autonomous organizations(DAOs) and the myriad of Internet of Things (IoTs).
These are all great and yes I acknowledge there are lots of non-profit and giving back type charity drives running too.
I think all of these can be brought together in a powerful way to eradicate poverty at last.
I have an idea but I can't do it alone. I joined steemit by chance because I was watching someone elses content on it before joining but now I can see that it can be used as a place to interact with other like minded people so I hope it does that.
It would use a basic needs token which could only be used to pay for basic food, shelter, health, and education services facilitated by a new distributed autonomous economy.
I wonder if anyone would like to explore this further with me.
