Most of the people in my life aren't on steemit and aren't into crypto, but eeeeeveryone is talking about it now, coworkers, friends, family. They're all still a bit skeptical, but once they look into it they all want to invest.
Steem is the best place to start out for someone new to crypto imo, it's free and you can start earning instantly.
I see no chance of steem failing and it could easily 10x or 20x with the number of users who should be here instead of reddit, fb, twitter. It's only a matter of time
