I find it really surprising that the "Steem Telegram Channel" has only around 589+ Members.
By doing the math of all the Steem accounts created in three years, we should have at least 10,000+ members by now.
The main reason I believe that there isn't that many members in the Steem Telegram Group is that so many people don't know about it.

Hey @stackin! I did join Telegram! It's super useful when I was trying to stake BTS for the BEOS rainfall. But, i totally forgot about it until you mentioned it. 😂 i actually prefer it to discord for some reason. 🤷♀️
I use discord sometimes but lots of information can get lost there... people can spent hours on discord lol
It's a must join for sure....Love when they zap all the bots that try to post Binance scams LOL

I and many others cannot join telegram due to the need of setting it up on my phone. I would use it on my laptop anyway and have no more room to add programs to the phone I have. Only STEEM programs get that honor and I cannot even add all of those that I want.
Feel free to send me a lot of cash. I will buy a new phone and get over there to join you. I think $500 usd will probably do it. This is more than my poverty-level living expenses in SE Asia. But I promise I will buy the phone and not food, or clothes,or meds or pay rent.
I use the desktop version the most 😀
But you still have to put it on your phone. Plus discord already sucks enough unpaid time from my life :)
Telegram seemed to have lost its shine lately. It is a bit too « messy » in my opinion but I am on there anytime I have an issue with a CryptoProject 😉

I sometimes go there, but not as much as other channels, I mostly spend time on telegram trying to see how my other investments are doing, with Steem I can do that on the blockchain...
I do however use the discord often, normally to hear other content creators on PAL's discord.
I think Insee you in the EOS telegram a lot or is it someone else 😂

I did a while ago, but now I haven't been there that much, the chain's governance is a little messed up atm so I decided to leave EOS, not sure if I'll go back at a later date, most good projects are forking the chain, WAX;WORBLI, for ex... I still have 100 bucks of EOS which are unstaked and I'm thinking of changing them for something else, prob steem and steemmonsters.

I was part of it about a year ago, but there wasn't a lot going on there!! I do remember a lot of XXX spam too lolz. But I want SBDs, not STDs!

I think steemit has not really done much work in promoting all there social media networks generally and I think they should look into it and we too the communities should help out with this task. Nice work@stackin you have been a huge positive influence to me in this platform. Cheers man

Yeah, Steemit don't promote their Social media groups. It's up to smaller communities to promote their Discord/Telegram channels.
The best thing about Telegram are the stickers🤣 lol and it doesn't take you tons of space on the cellphone😉 The Steem tg is useful, me x example learned that the founder of Partiko is safe just seems taking a nap but that's a good news!

Thanks for spreading the good word! The Telegram I find useful for new people who may have a question about Steem. Crypto people usual hit Telegrams first if they are lost.
I joined but don't use telegram for anything so i never have it open. Everybody is on discord which is much better and has all of the groups you need to STEEM on.
I think the same but I hope this channel prove me wrong.
