Look what I found, A Bitcoin ATM at "The D Las Vegas Casino". I was surprised that you can pay for things in Bitcoins at the front desk, gift shop, restaurants and other places inside of the casino.Β π°π²
The only thing that you couldn't do was use Bitcoins to gamble, don't get me wrong... I did try and they said no π€£π
The transaction is pretty fast, however the only bad thing was the high fees. The word on the street is that every single Casino in Las Vegas will soon have Bitcoins Machines.Β ππΌ

Wow that is neat! I would love to see more day-to-day use of cryptos like this, a Visa or MasterCard based on Steem would be very nice!

Give it time and I'm sure others will become available, as more people and businesses realise cryptocurrency is here to stay it's going to explode. However the only problem I can see is various governments will bend over backwards to protect their fiat system , rant over cheers mike
That is what I'm thinking about also, the government can put tons of regulations on it or even tax it.... But there will always be around that :)
That is why BTC is by far the best crypto currency! Here in Sarasota we only have about 4 BTC ATM's.

haha ahead of the game I guess! Thailand is lacking in them though. They had one in Bangkok a couple years back, but it closed down. I think it just wasn't quite the right time for it to be successful in Thailand yet. Most of the population are larger unaware of Bitcoin and cryptos at all.

They might raise the fees... but I think the future is not the ATM but your iphone which you can hold and buy bitcoin with it :)

What's the fees at? I've only heard about there being like 5 of these in all of finland.
The cost of 1 bitcoin was $3531.48 so around 3-5% :)
Same rate for buying and selling? Still alot better than paying taxes for it.

You would think that Vegas would be all over cryptocurrency. They are slow on the uptake. Them and the porn industry. Maybe because it has been too volatile.

I really wish this would happen in Nigeria in the nearest future. What baffles me most is why our government are so adamant in trying to introduce dugutak currency into our economy officially. The economy is already in recession, i think digital currency can be a major boost for it. My thoughts though.

Love This casino and downtown overall. The D is usually the first to try new things and overall listens to their customer base. Everyone please let them know how much you enjoy this machine. Great post!
Only two places that I like about downtown Vegas, THE D and the Golden Nugget :) ... they have the gold machine though which is bad ass :)

There have one on the highway going towards nevada. The D was the worst one in Vegas I used. In Vegas at the ATMs are where ive been buying most of my bitcoin though. Theres also a few smoke shops that have BTCATM machines on the west side of the freeway.
Yeah, this was the one at the D... located in the BACK. In a few years, there are going to be everywhere :)
