RE: USA ruffling China's feathers...

in #china7 years ago

"Trump is an idiot" is a dangerous way of thinking. While he doesn't always know what he is doing, sometimes he does. He gets people all fired up about stupid things and then move in other dangerous directions. I didn't vote for him, nor do I agree with his publicity profiles and tweeting, but in terms of this particular move against China in support of Taiwan, it isn't all that bad. Hong Kong is slowly being destroyed by the communists in Beijing and this is a way of showing solidarity with Hong Kong and even Japan and South Korea to some degree. Read between the lines, the world, including the current POTUS is far more nuanced than "trump is an idiot."

Sure I agree, you can kinda say that about anybody though, they dont always know what they are doing but sometimes they do ;), but trust me, Trump has no clue about the conflicts that have been ongoing between China and Taiwan... In my opinion the USA should not be involved in any problems of foreign countries. There are too many issues in the USA that need to be fixed first. Currently the USA is involved in about 6 or 7 military conflicts around the world none of which are beneficial to American people.
