USA ruffling China's feathers...

So Trump is continuing his promises of shaking things up...

Now China. By selling arms to Taiwan, technically a territory still claimed by China, he will be testing our relationship with Beijing. Perhaps the Chinese can look past our twitter President and focus on the long term, but they will certainly not be pleased by these deliberate moves he is making.
Perhaps he is backing away from the "One China" policy?

Please comment if you are interested in this topic. WHAT SAY YOU STEEMIT WORLD? I'm not a fan of Trump but I do pay attention when he pushes hard in new directions.

Trump is basically an idiot, he has no clue what he is doing, the USA is the biggest arms dealer on earth and always has been, the reason they sell weapons of war to other countries is because the US gov spends about $600 billion per year on the Dept of Defense. Part of that $600 billion goes to corporations that manufacture weapons, it is impossible for the USA to use all those weapons they create so they have to sell them to foreign countries so they can get some of that money back so they have it for next year to give to corporations to manufacture more weapons. War is an economy, and we are stuck in an economy of perpetual warfare...

"Trump is an idiot" is a dangerous way of thinking. While he doesn't always know what he is doing, sometimes he does. He gets people all fired up about stupid things and then move in other dangerous directions. I didn't vote for him, nor do I agree with his publicity profiles and tweeting, but in terms of this particular move against China in support of Taiwan, it isn't all that bad. Hong Kong is slowly being destroyed by the communists in Beijing and this is a way of showing solidarity with Hong Kong and even Japan and South Korea to some degree. Read between the lines, the world, including the current POTUS is far more nuanced than "trump is an idiot."

Sure I agree, you can kinda say that about anybody though, they dont always know what they are doing but sometimes they do ;), but trust me, Trump has no clue about the conflicts that have been ongoing between China and Taiwan... In my opinion the USA should not be involved in any problems of foreign countries. There are too many issues in the USA that need to be fixed first. Currently the USA is involved in about 6 or 7 military conflicts around the world none of which are beneficial to American people.

Time will tell on this one. Next month will see some interesting news stories.

Should be fun to watch. Taiwan is probably like this direction.

China is more powerful & stronger
