The prayer of Jabez stands as one of the most remarkable prayers in the Bible. Its a powerful evidence of how prayer plays a role in transforming a person's life. One important requirement needed to become great as a child of God is prayer. There is something about prayer that rids us of every weakness and enhances the strengths of a believer. Prayer changes your scope and horizon.
When we fail to pray we limit
what God can do for us.
Jabez changed his destiny through prayer. His prayer was a heartfelt cry asking God to give him more capacity and room for increase.
Rome was not built in a day. Great men of God like Abraham, Isaac, Joseph, Moses, David, Paul the apostle and our Lord Jesus Christ had humble beginnings But what is common in the lives of these heroes is prayer. Job 8:7 says “though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase”. They broke through and rewrote their destinies through intense prayer and this caused their end to greatly increase.
__Jacob went into a battle with God that changed his life __. The spiritual encounter not only changed his name but that of his generation.
No matter how hard you work there is always a human limit to your growth and success but with spiritual intervention you don't grow according to
"formula."
When you commit your ways to God, He promotes you from one level to another beyond human understanding.
When we pray we allow God to come in and change the equations. Our increase works like a multiplication table and not a function of mere addition.
Prayer changes things not by the normal route but by supernatural acts.
The average christian today doesn't go to God in prayer for help but chooses to seek help from people instead. Hard work is essential to succeed and being able to ask for help from people has its role, but nothing can be compared to the success that comes when God is in it. The source is God.

Father Lord Almighty, I pray that you will strengthen my prayer life that I may greatly increase in every aspect of my life, in Jesus's name. Amen
