All hail Lord Jesus Christ the Word of God in whom we live move and have our being. As he is so are we in this world!
We are happy with exceeding joy to be crucified with Christ. Wherefore we are in bonds by one baptism into the like death that he suffered after his passion.
For it behooved Christ, to suffer, die and rise the third day, that repentance and remission of sins should be preached unto every creature.
For which cause I am sent to teach all nations to observe all things that he has commanded, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost Lord Jesus Christ.
This is the promised covenant for eternal life with the Father by which we partake of the common salvation with them that were eyewitnesses and ministers of the Word preached by the Holy Ghost throughout the world and witnesses in every city.
There has been no greater controversy than the mystery of the Godhead and the godliness that follows obedience to the faith of God righteousness unto holiness.
This then is the conclusion of the whole matter ~ God the Supreme Being is one omniscient omnipresent omnipotent person who is Father Son Holy Ghost in the name Lord Jesus Christ.
No other definition satisfies the standards of the Christian worldview and faith in the doctrine of Trinitarian Oneness with exclusivity to the absolute while manifesting the transcendent wisdom and knowledge of God the Supreme Being as the Creator of all things in heaven and on earth, both mortal and immortal, both seen and unseen.
As it is written in the book of ROMANS Chapter 1 in the New Testament scriptures of The Holy Bible ~ For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made. Even his eternal power and Godhead.
Also it is written in the book of COLOSSIANS Chapter 1 ~ In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins. Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature. For by him were all things created. That are in heaven, and that are in earth. Visible and invisible. Whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers. All things were created by him, and for him. And he is before all things. And by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church. Who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead. That in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell.
And again in the book of COLOSSIANS Chapter 2 ~ As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him. Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith. As ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit. After the tradition of men. After the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him.
Now read ACTS Chapter 17 to understand the words written by brother Luke of what Apostle Paul witnessed and taught to the world ~ Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars’ hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious. For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands. Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things. And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth. And hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation. That they should seek the Lord. If haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us. For in him we live, and move, and have our being. As certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold or silver or stone. Graven by art and man’s device. And the times of this ignorance God winked at, but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent. Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained. Whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
The Old Testament says in DEUTORONOMY Chapter 6 in The Holy Bible of scriptures ~ Hear, O Israel. The Lord our God is one Lord. And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart.
However, the book of ECCLESIASTES Chapter 4 gives the Christian faith the best principle of the Trinity ~ There is one alone, and there is not a second. Yea, he hath neither child nor brother. Yet is there no end of all his labour. Neither is his eye satisfied with riches. Neither saith he, For whom do I labour, and bereave my soul of good? This is also vanity, yea, it is a sore travail. Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him that is alone when he falleth. For he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat. But how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
Whereby when you read you will understand my knowledge in the mystery of the Godhead that you be not dull of hearing and in all thine getting get an understanding!
There is NO place where the scriptures say expressly in the absolute there are three separate distinct persons in the Godhead. Bear in mind, the scriptures of the New Testament only mentions the word Godhead three times!

The Gospel of Thomas is a fraudulent book. It didn't appear until centuries after Thomas died. It certainly wasn't written by him.
Thanks for replying @barncat. I really never looked at The Gospel of Thomas as a fake. Nevertheless, I don't have any mention of the that book in this blog posting.
