[[Act 3:25]] KJV Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.
A covenant involved blood exchange between both two parties cutting the Covenant. So In the new testament we did not do the Covenant but we are children of the Covenant. We are a result of the Covenant that Abraham did the God. If we are in Christ then we are Abraham's seed.
A covenant means exchanging exchanging names also, there is an exchange of gift and there is loyalty. If you approach God on the basis of the Covenant that you shall see him performing arts wonders because he is a covenant keeping God. Many Christians suffer not because God wants them to but because of they are not faithful to the Covenant of Abraham.
I encourage you today. You have more on your side because of God and the Covenant he did with Abraham. Imagine Israel never had casualties the as long as God was on their side. They only suffered when they fought against against God's instruction.
Brothers and sisters we have a more sure covenant in Christ. How much more victory should we enjoy because we are saved.
