The purpose of life is to glorify God in both good and hard times alike.It is to admire,attract and marry the Spirit of God out of love for it by consistent study of His Word and following His ordinances in life.He gives and takes away at will-He changeth not.It is not our hardwork,skill or talents that give us wealth or success in life,it is simply the grace of God.Thus,we must adore God even when He takes away from us.We must honor Him by complete submission to His Word for He gives us the power to get wealth by His divine grace.
Those who bless God in their hardship prove their divine sonship.There is no room for any man to boast of his power,wealth or strength ;because all that mortal man has in life has been bestowed upon him by the grace of divine providence.Hard times must encourage us to exercise our faith as Christians for those who bless God in trials/tribulations prove their divine sonship.Thus,no matter what happens to us in life,we must exclaim:"Blessed be your holy name,O Lord,my God!". In Job 1:21,the great man Job says:"Naked I came from my mother's womb,and naked I shall depart.The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away;may the name of the Lord be praised". Job did not sin by charging God with wrongdoing inspite of all his trials in life.We too must cultivate the same attitude to prove our divine sonship.Are you poor? Do you feel dejected? No one can be as poor as the day when he/she was born.From today,you must eye not only the hands of God but also the name and Word of God.To know God, you must not only marvel at His miraculous works, but you must also learn His ways by studying His Word. Matthew 6:33 tells us to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and then every of our needs will be added to our blessings.
Let us not forget that a man may be poor or sick and yet remain a friend of God.It is never proper to base our faith on our improvement after prayers.There is no reason for faith as good as the Word of God.We must adore God all the time bowing to worship Him in awe of His majesty.We must always find the opportunity to bless His holy name,honoring Him in total and willing submission .
Our weeping must not hinder our sowing into the Lord's vineyard nor should it ever hinder our worship of Him.Whenever there is poverty/strife or war afflicting us or our loved ones,our prayers and faithvshould be directed against them because the purpose of life is to glorify God in good and hard times alike.Let your life's purpose become clear,through your consistent study of His Word,so that your life will have concrete meaning.It is only the grace of God that enriches us in life.
