I read this scripture and it jolted me like I have never read it! Most of us even sing it in worship.
"Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created" Rev.4:11.
Suppose we begin to practicalise Rev.4:10-11(throw our crowns) our names/achievments, & glories) all the monies we've made, all the mansions we have acquired; all for only HIS PLEASURE! Then, reflect on
Colossians 1:16 "For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;"
I believe we will no longer have worries or anxiety that leads us to greed and confusion.
If all you do is for yourself, you are not any different from that great farmer in
Luke 12:19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
What will a CANDLE lose in lighting another CANDLE ? Obviously NOTHING!
Life is sweet when you are happy, but life is at its best when OTHERS are happy because of you:
Be faithful in touching other's hearts.
Be an inspiration.
Nothing in nature was created for itself;
Rivers do not drink their own water.
Trees do not eat their own fruits.
The Sun does not shine for itself and Flowers do not spread their fragrance for themselves.
Living for others is a rule of nature.
We were all born to help each other. No matter how difficult the situation you find yourself in, still do good to others.
The circle of people you know are different from the people I know! Your actions and inactions affect the people around you.
I cannot do what you are ordained to do in the lives of those around you likewise, you cannot do mine!
If you allow a day to pass without influencing or affecting those around you positively, bringing happiness to their lives, you have waisted your day!
This life, today you have opportunity, tomorrow you may not have!
Be a source of happiness to someone today!
Are you living for God? How? What has He told you?
God's word can never fail, and cannot change but if you decide to live for the devil, then it is better to really enjoy the devil and what he can offer very well and be ready for eternal damnation in hell!
I urge us to always ask ourselves daily "WHO AM I LIVING FOR?"
This should form the basis of our daily living. As we wake up everyday, determine who you want to live for as you step out of your bed. YOURSLF? OTHERS? OR THE DEVIL.

O yes, when a candle light out otber candles , the environmenr becomes brighter.
God has made everything for His pleasure. So , we want to be vessel meet for the master's use only, then we have to be selfless in our doings.
