Not a blogger was stirring, not even a big mouth;
The wallets were waiting by the blockchain with care,

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,

Had just settled down for a long crypto winter's nap,
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.
The promise of moonshot on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of digital gold to wallets below,
When, what to my wondering eyes has these bods,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight mega mods,
With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be Scot's hair flick.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name;

As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky,
So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,

And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of the big fatty goof
As I drew in my hand, and was turning around,
Down the chimney Scot came with a bound.
He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot;
A bundle of PALcoin he had flung on his back,
And he wide eyes from opening Splinterlands packs.
His eyes -- how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow;
The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the sweet icky icky encircled his head like a wreath;
He had a broad face and a little round belly,

He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself;
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread;
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,

And laying his finger aside the clock pointing to night noon,
And giving a nod, he promised that crypto would moon;

Check your wallets. Millions of PALcoin went out. You have a month to claim it. If you didn't get some and think you should have contact us in Discord. Not everyone will claim and we can figure something out in a month.
Blacklisted users didn't get any. Inactive accounts didn't get any. Accounts with 10SP or less on their accounts didn't get any. Whales got capped.

10% of the inflation for PALcoin goes to mining. If you'd like a chance to get some PALcoin through mining pickup some PALMM. If you don't feel like enough of a whale on the platform come pickup some PALcoin

It doesn't go straight into your wallet. It's not an airdrop. It's a claim drop. We don't want 4M of these sitting in inactive accounts. So, if you want it you have to claim it.
To claim it go to stee-engine.com, sign in. Ideally with keychain, and clic the claim button in your wallet.
Yeah - Steem-egine does not show Palcoin in my wallet.
You should have a logo of PALcoin in the top-left of Steem Engine to click on if you have any coins to claim. If it's displayed, click on it, and the drop will be made in a few minutes. At least this happened in my case.

They are from the miners, because the drop is NOT automatic, you have to claim the drop.

Sounds like a lot, but I just voted this comment with over 2,000 PAL staked @ 100% and it didn't make a dent in your kitty. Hope this is just a bug in the UI...
Yes, I have also 1000 PAL staked and I don´t see any impact on the votes. This is all so new. I guess they will fix it.
Nope, don't see your vote either :-) I think they overlooked stuff in the conversion of the front end. STEEM still shows up in a lot of places. We'll see.

When you say "check your wallet" do you mean to check on steem-engine?
steem-engine.com, or palnet.io wallet should show too.

I don't see a claim button or a palnet wallet in steem-engine.
I had the same problem. I logged out (or steem-engine) and then logged in again and the claim button was there. Try that.
I found it thanks @dbooster. No idea what staking it means though! 😂
It seems to be the palnet version of powering up. We power up steem to steem power, and we stake pal to pal power.

This is so cool! I just received my claimdrop and staked all 244 of them. And because I don't like weird numbers I had to buy 1 PAL, just to make it an even 245 stake. Lol!
To those looking for the claimdrop, just click on the Palnet logo/button on the top left of your screen when you go to your Steem-Engine.com Wallet page. As @dbooster pointed out, you might have to logout, then login, first.

Staking in Palnet is like powering up. You get Pal Power that is similar to Steem Power for use in the Palnet.io frontend.
Seemed rather simple and flawless on my end. Claimed all 1,825 with a click of a few buttons and then staked them. Gotta love a well designed system nicely done!
Does everyone has a chance to claim tokens or do I need to have used palnet prior to the claim?
