Hi all, thanks to your support, I have recently just hit 888 followers. I waited for this to occur and took a screenshot of it. You will know why I did that very soon.

The reason why this is a significant milestone, is because 8 is the luckiest number in Chinese culture. In Chinese eight is pronounced "ba", which is very similar to "fa", which means to make a fortune in the chinese language. In Chinese, "wo fa le" means I have made a lot of money.
因為8對中國人是特別幸運的數字，我認為這也是一個值得一提的里程碑。這一段是跟老外說明一下，八與發的發音很接近。
The opening ceremony of the Olympics in China was on 08/08/2008, at 8:08pm. I think this kind of proves that the number 8 is associated with prosperity in Chinese culture. At the same time, it was the first and only time that China topped the gold medal tally. Maybe this is really a lucky number? My mobile number also has 8 in it, which makes me feel kind of lucky.

In fact, this number is so lucky, such that around the same time as I got 888 followers, Steem has experienced the largest increase in history, and is now at approximately $7 USD.
在我達到888追隨者的同時，剛好又碰上Steem大漲到$7美金，不知是純粹巧合還是冥冥中注定。
