Holy moly! If that isn't a reason to book a flight right away, I don't know of one! I thought I had some amazing blue shots- but this one just took my breath away! Maldives just got bumped up on my list of must sees ;)

Swim 2-3-4 hours non-stop, and swim around an ENTIRE Island, while snorkeling !
That was what happen to be really charming on me !
Island is only about 60 by 80 meters in size ! (I may be wrong, maybe a few meters more. But it is TINY)

Is the kit lense a polarizer? It looks like you used a polarizer, that's how you get the rich blues, which I personally love
No, not using polarizer. Just a plain , rather cheap zoom lens, as a kit to the cam body when I purchased it.
