Yup yup yup. It’s another one of those “look what awesome art I just got” posts!!! These are from The Amazing Spider-Man Curse of the Man-Thing one shot that came out in I believe the spring. Artist Marco Fallia whips up a beauty of a Spider-Man and I fell in love with his style. Unfortunately for me as an OA collector, most of the work in the issue was done in a hybrid style meaning half digitally…mainly due to time constraints. But there were 6 pages done 100% traditionally and I pounced.
My art boner was totally activated when I found out these pages were available, I just want to state. Marco has some Marvel work under his belt, but nothing with Spidey so this is a rare and special find. Add to that some guest star appearances by The Lizard (& his alter ego Curt Conners), Captain America, and the main man…er uh…thing…Man-Thing!
Since there are 6 pages here plus some bonus stuff, I think I’m going to show off one each day so we can get good looks at each panel from each page.
Today’s page is page 17…
In the first panel we see a wide eyed Spidey Getting walloped by these fearsome flying creatures.
Second panel is a bit more of the sane but this time throw the Lizard into the mix. I have no lizard pieces in my collection yet so…score!!!
Panel 3 has a good shot of Spidey shooting from his web shooters to get away from the danger he’s surrounded by.
Finally in the bottom panel, we see all the players in this battle with Cap and Lizard in the background and a beautiful Spidey swinging in the foreground.
C’mon…how pretty is this panel?!?
Here’s the published colored version for you to get a different feel. I bet you didn’t know these flying hellspawn burst into flames…did ya?!? 😂

Look forward to it! I was checking out Comic Art Fans like you mentioned before. Found they have a YouTube channel and do a 'dualing dealers' show. That was pretty entertaining.
Yeah they do it each week. It’s on new comic day so I work and usually can’t check it out. 😞

Your collection dwarfs mine haha. It is pretty awesome. May join if I can get some better pictures. I used to have an A3 scanner, maybe I can find it... Was going to draw my own comic at one time. Ended up going on the unfinished project pile. No clue what I did with the scanner at this point. 😅
Eh…we all look at someone else’s collection and drool. I do it daily. Part of what keeps me going. Lol
I just take crappy phone pics to show on there. No need to have it scanned although it is a nicer image. Lol
