It's been a little while since hive communities were introduced and as far as I know they seem to be working well; I see them as a great place to find like-minded people, and people in general, because expanding one's network is so important here; *Reaching new people to build relationships with is pivotal. Essentially, there's great benefit in posting one's content specifically into a relevant community in my opinion.

A few I'd like to share
👉 Planet Auto - The word auto should be a good clue as to what this community is all about. If it's vehicle-related this is the place to put it. Whether it's motor-racing, vehicle-maintenance, a showcase of your own vehicle or an automotive product review this community is suited...Anything automotive related is welcome. Thanks @planetauto.
👉 Rant, Complain, Talk - This new community, set up by @cmplxty, offers people a place to drop their complaints, rant-posts and general thoughts about just about anything. Had a bad retail service experience, a neighborhood or work dispute, want to rant about the pandemic or an environmental concern, or just voice your thoughts...Here's where to do it.
👉 Toys on Hive - This community welcomes content about anything toy-related. It could be the showcase or demonstration of a toy, a favourite from the past, something your children play with, a toy you would like to own, even a story from your past about a toy. Remember, adults have toys too, so virtually anything could be relevant here. Thanks @livinguktaiwan for this fun community.
👉 Self Improvement - A place to share your thoughts on life, how to get the best from it, maintain positivity, talk about goals, share uplifting stories or those of adversity that brought enlightenment. Share your triumphs, setbacks and what you learned from them plus your fears and hopes - Your story could help someone else through a tough time or inspire them greatly! Set up by @stevenwood it is a friendly place to open up and share one's experiences and thoughts with a focus on development and growth.
👉 The Pew - A niche community set up to cater to those interested in hunting, fishing, prepping, firearms, survival, archery or military-related content. Want to share how to preserve food, build a shelter, survival techniques or stories, your latest hunting or fishing experience, or showcase your latest firearm...You could even ask questions in post-format on these topics.
👉 Engage the Weekend - This community covers literally any topic as long as it is related in some way to the weekend...But you don't have to wait until the weekend to post it! It doesn't have to relate to the current weekend...If it happened on a weekend, or is about a weekend then it's welcome here. This is also the home of the #weekend-engagement topic post that comes out every Friday.
👉 Lego - It's about Lego y'all, quite obviously. This very small community invites users to post about anything Lego-related from your builds, stories from the past, sets one wants, stop-motion videos, what your kids are playing with...Anything about Lego.
👉 Inner Blocks - This community focuses on real-life experiences and encourages people to get after it, to seek the best from their lives and to share it! All topics are covered here, just make it about life, real life, and your own experiences. Thanks to @freedompoint for this one!
That was my turn
These are but a few communities I subscribe to and there are many more. I showcase these to demonstrate the diversity the hive community represents and that there is a community for just about any purpose.
Just on communities, when you post in them your post will appear on your posts feed on your own page. If you want them to also appear in your blog feed you'll need to re-blog your own post to your blog. If you don't know how to do that just comment below and I'll explain it. If you don't want it in your blog feed then it's all good.
There are communities that people post into in the hope of gaining a whale vote and that's a person's personal prerogative - But there's a wider world out there and relying on whale votes that may eventually disappear won't help you build your relationships - It's a little like giving a starving man a fish which he can eat once, or teaching him to fish so he can eat for life.
Supporting communities, getting involved, commenting and engaging with others on their posts, will put you on their radar and draw them to your own - That's how you build sustainable income here and communities are a great resource and stage to showcase your own work!
Now it's your turn
I invite you to comment below with your community suggestions.
Please make sure you do a little text description of each to introduce it and you may like to tag the owner/admin of the community to alert them and give them the chance to add comments or to answer any questions others may have.
Please keep in mind that each community has its own set of rules and guidelines which are usually enforced. All of them promote original content only, no plagiarism and community-minded behaviour but some will also not permit cross-posting, graphic images and so on. The rules and community description can be found to the right of the main page so take the time to read it.
So...There's little else to say except...
Go! 😁

Be well

This is awesome! I appreciate the shout out! I read it earlier and I’m really excited to say that I’m already subscribed to all of those communities except inner blocks. I’ll definitely be checking it out!
I’m glad to say that the engagement in each of the communities is great. Cool posts to check out and lots of comments in the posts! That’s what it’s about for sure!
I wanted to give your community a plug as I knw how difficult it is to get exposure for communities as a little account like you and I. It's funny you know, I am pushing on to 100,000 HP and yet I'm saying I am a little account...I remember when I had 100HP!
The thing is that people post into communities hoping for a whale vote and don't support the smaller ones. I can assure you that if someone delegated me a million HP and I was voting inside the smaller communities people would start posting there! I'm afraid my little 0.45c vote is probably quite meaningless.
Anyway, lets be us and allow them to be them - I know you use communities as do I and I think it's a good thing...As long as we're having fun that's the main thing right?
Well I will also post about some communities I have created:
Ham Radio Community - where I hope people post about Ham Radio projects and learning.
Learning Python Community - I hope people post about learning to program Python
Raspberry Pi Community - I created this community because I am a big Raspberry Pi fan and hope to encourage others join in the fun learning experience.
Hey mate, thanks for posting about these communities! It's really hard for small accounts to get communities off the ground usually as we don't have the ability to do massive whale-votes...Still, it's good to have niche communities and to let people know about them.
I’m going to recommend the “Rocky Mountains” community, for those interested in our wonderful Canadian and American Mountains and Lakes. A shameless plug for the community I created.
No worries about the shameless plug at all, communities need to be promoted. You should share the link too!

Some gold in here. I'm absolutely guilty of not exploring Communities enough.
I always try to find an appropriate community to post into, except for this one as I wanted it to be more general. I've posted in the South Australia community a few times lately too. It just seems like the right thing to do, posting in communities I mean.
Nice! I discovered some interesting ones I never heard about :)
Cool, I hope you get some posts into them or visit to support those who do post there. 🙂
No doubt about it :)
Thanks for this very informative post - a most enjoyable read.
You're welcome. Thanks for stopping by and commenting...I might see you around in one of these communities sometimes I hope.
Look forward to that.
Communities are great it could there hive into a very resourceful place to come in and check on what may interest you might have to work on creating a community myself don't know what yet but will give it some thought.
I have a few ideas for communities but I have three and am not sure if I want to start another. They are good though, a nice place to put specific posts and I'd like to see ore people use them.
You have enough going on it beats me how you can keep up , your doing a great job 👍
I don't know how I get it done. I guess I'm just highly organised and efficient? I wake up early in the day, usually around 0500 and don't go to bed until 0000 (midnight) so there's many hours in the day for me to work with. Maybe one day I'll just keel-over and croak it through overwork?
I feel if you are enjoying what you are doing making people happy and earning a few dollars the hours and effort are worth it 😉
Have a great evening buddy 👍
Thanks mate, have a good one too! Friday tomorrow and the end of my working week! I'm a bit excited about it...As always. 😆
These weekends come up so fast but yeah i am looking forward to it myself i have had a pretty busy week and will be looking forward to a relaxing walk along the Byron coastline that is my escape of relaxation 😉
You have a great weekend also buddy 👍
,,Remember, adults have toys too, so virtually anything could be relevant here.''
I guess I could post my puzzle adventures there? That sounds good. Thank you
Yep, anything that could be seen as a toy, even an adult one. I have a lot of guns and asked the owner of the community about that and she said yep, if they're your toys then it's all good!
Great communities! You've made Lego fun cool again with that community
You know me and Lego...Match made in heaven. 😀
