How to set up and run your own online forum/community

Do you want to have your own online forum/community where members can discuss and do a whole lot more but you don't know how to go about it. You can do this even if you have no knowledge of website design.

Normally you need a hosting account ( your domain and files) but i am going to teach you how to set it up locally(without a hosting account) after that we can now talk of making it visible to the entire world.

I will be teaching you how to set up your forum using phpbb and smf free and open source community software. We will start with phpbb and then move to smf.

To get started you need to download a wamp server ( it will enable you to run it locally). If your system is 64 bits, then you need to download wamp server for 64 bits, this is a direct link wamp server download link for 64 bits systems. If your system is 32 bits, then use this direct link to make the download wamp server download link for 32 bits systems.

You can also go through this link wamp server you can download any of the version using above link, in the image below, you will see where you will click to make the download, this process will take you to the direct download.
