Welcome to a weekly cooking competition where we will host and give a specific ingredient to cook with, Hive Top Chef!
This competition has two goals, to see awesome recipes and to make everyone drool over them! We are looking forward to see some cool entries this week and we will start of with a rather simple ingredient that can be amazing if done right!
This week's Hive Top Chef: Traditional Christmas Food.

Have to use the required ingredient.

Be sure to include plenty of pictures as presentation surely counts in the overall score, but we all know sometimes the messy dishes are the one that tastes the best, you know what I am talking about. That picture that makes you almost taste the pure awesomeness of something delicious. We can't wait for your entries, so get it done! While you are at it, feel free to tag a friend in your entry comment below, we all here to tame the hunger inside, might as well do it with friends. ;)

No worries @lizelle, you take your time. I understand must have been busy taking care of the guest house by yourself shorthanded. I am also sick these few days with fever, flu, dry cough and diarrhea. Now I have been confirmed with COVID-19, pray for me that I will recover soonest. Hi @lizelle, I am currently hospitalized. The ambulance fetched me from my home yesterday. So I am expected to live here until 9 Jan. thanks and you take care too.

Wow, congratulations to all the winners, so nice to see new names, great to see @amy-goodrich is back in full force again, congratulations to you and all the other winners; leeks remain one of my favourites! Going to try and get a post in before deadline, been run off my feet here with guests in our bnb, and now we're in another lockdown, so things are calmer at least!

Yep, there are some plusses, hopefully it doesn't last too long. Beach closure is affecting our business so that's not too good but we'll survive!
