Defining The Consciousness Movement...

Science suggests that through neural entrainment people's brainwaves are in sync with one another. According to the researchers, brain synchrony may influence synchronized behavior during human interaction. http://www.naturalnews.com/2017-05-11-peoples-brain-wave-patterns-sync-up-when-they-are-near-each-other-astonishing-new-science-shows.html

This could somewhat explain groupthink and the similar action of people in groups. Over the last year or so The Consciousness Movement seems to have gained ground worldwide, or certainly domestically in the United States. People speak of an awakening of "consciousness," but what does that really mean? I've heard this terminology with more frequency and wanted to debate what exactly people are synchronistically picking up on? In a broad sense, it could simply be being alive but I presume it means something much more specific.

My two cents is as follows: The Consciousness Movement is in direct response to people waking up to the matrix so many of us find ourselves living in. We've been mass mind controlled to believe we have to look a certain way, we have to act a certain way, have a certain life path and direction (school, career, marriage, children, death), and there's an awakening that all this simply is not true. The system is a farce and is ceasing to work in people's best interest. - The system wants to put us up for sale to the highest bidder and our souls are at stake, whether that is through our "digital data" or through other covert means. People are waking up that their life cannot be dictated by centrally located oligarchs or government officials, and that their destiny is in their own hands. With this in mind people are opting to live more consciously and that involves all species. "All is one" essentially, and we all are interrelated and need to lift one another up. buddha Oneness.jpg
From a non-religious perspective, God is in each of us and we're all intertwined, hence that if you suffer a little bit of me suffers too. If we're causing mass casualties and harm to the world that's ultimately in one way or another going to cause harm to ourselves too.

I would love to get people's different (or, perhaps, synchronistic) views on the "Consciousness Movement." Much love, gratitude, and light!

I concur. I feel consciousness is an increasing awareness in the present moment. How much more can we be aware of? The only place the past and future exist is in a thought in the present moment. What are we filling our present moments up with? If we are feeling them up with fears of the future and regrets of the past we are not consciously with awareness living in the present moment. I feel that sometimes that's the reason that people escape from those fears and regrets with alcohol and drugs. That gets them into the present moment but in an unconscious way. It is much better to be in the present moment raw and aware. In spite of fear. There might be much fear in being conscious. Security and the lack of fear is actually more unconscious and leads to more unconsciousness. Like the past and the future not being real, security is not real either. Security does not truly exist. We live in an unsecure universe. Being conscious and aware of fear and acting spite of it, is being alive in the present moment. I guess that defines an adventure! That is the way I prefer to live, a conscious adventure!

Beautiful!~ Thank you for your insight :)
