Saturday was the last of the cooler days. He was up in the attic all morning building the support for the chimney for the masonry heater. Even though it was “cooler” it was mighty hot up there.
Sunday after we move the pasture pen, he will cut through the roof and start the chimney. The rest of this coming week is to be real hot then thunderstorms. He hopes to have the chimney done and sealed by then.
Ooh, fun with cutting a hole in the roof! Hopefully it all goes smoothly.
It did seem to. Tomorrow he closes it in and hopes to get it water tight.
