On Friday the carpenter spent the whole day sanding all the surfaces in the hall and clean room. These are the last surfaces needing this work.
I was a bit worried that building the walls would make this area dark and airless. But before we’ve even got the paint and wallpaper on, it’s obvious it will be a light and airy place.
I love that he prefers a clean neat work area, because he vacuums AND mops the floors when he is done.
Monday he will start the painting by taking the “mistake” paint to the store to see if it can be lightened up. I’d be aiming for the light cream it looks like when wet, not the darker color it becomes.
If he can get that done, then he can paint the hall and long clean room wall. The ceilings will need a couple coats too of white.
