Your content is KING. Even if you don't know it yet.

Since the dawn of internet marketing two things have always been prevalent. "Content is King" and "Value Proposition"

Content

Content can be anything from a simple Facebook post to a info graphic or video. The internet is made of content and as much as the internet has changed in terms of developing for various devices content remains the main key to your success online.

Content tells users your story, lets them interact with you and allows you a place to sell them on your product or ideology.

While traffic remains an important factor it can mean nothing if you are not engaging visitors.

Gimmicks and tricks to get traffic such as click bait strategies may work short term but content will ultimately gain you an audience online.

Value Proposition

It is sometimes hard to value content on the web and so we look to google at some of the answers on what creates valuable content.

Now while algorithms and trends change over time content remains the single most important ranking factor for google and those that produce great content on a regular basis generally get rewarded with keyword rankings.

Your posts should be easy to navigate, have headlines/subheadlines, should be engaging to read and should add value to the reader.

#steemit understands this and so don't feel bad when your post does not earn much in the first 24 hours. Keep adding value and grow with the community.

My content is not really King in my opinion, but it is stuff I am interested in talking about. At the end of the day if others aren't interested in the same things I am okay with it. I will keep posting about things, and maybe, just maybe some other like minded people will find it and enjoy it.

I beg to disagree. If someone is interested in CRISPR gene editing technology and comes across your article they will learn some valuable info in a nicely summed up easy to digest format. :)

I am glad you enjoyed it! That is why I write stuff to begin with. :)

There is a lot of misinformation about science, so I want to try to increase peoples education on the matter. More education = more understanding = better rationalization about the topics when you read stuff in the future.

Unfortunately that CRISPR post got flagged a bunch of times by people who were filling the science tag with non science related posts, whom I flagged for it. They took their revenge on that one of mine :(

Ah well!

How much is it worth when your pictures disappear or links are broken, and you cannot edit your post to fix it?
