It’s normal for witness to be disabled from time to time for maintenance without missing blocks. You should check when was their last produced block and if it’s way too long then you can make up your mind.
I’ve started to post monthly report for inactive and retired witnesses, the last one was here:

Nice and cool. Surprises me how @dpoll.witness that was launched only about a month ago is already retired. Well, I'll have to talk with emrebeyler.

dpoll.witness is never retired or deactivated since it’s launch. It must be a calculation error. @quochuy can you please update your post?
