Hi @mister-meeseeks, my favourite thing about steemit is that it is such an organic platform, and the first of its kind. I use it more than any other now, and not just for the payouts. The people using it all have soo much in common, which is they're sick of the lies, the fake news , the spam, and the trolling, and plagiarism that plagues all other platforms.
Being rewarded for curation and writing is a great welcome change to pointless social platforms like facebook, and with such welcome new rewards for our posts you wont find us with our noses in our phones seeking social gratification for hours on end either.
