Contest Rules
- Each contestant must choose 5 different bets.
There are 40 options to choose from as each match has Home | Away | Over | Under - Multiple bets on the same match are not allowed.
- Ranking will be made by profit based on listed odds.
- I will upvote your entry so you know your bets are recorded.

This will be announced each new week and may change.
3 Steem Jackpot Prize Pool
- Someone making 4 Units or more Profit unlocks the Jackpot.
- 50% will be paid out to the the Jackpot Winner.
- 50% will be split between other contestants based on made profit.
- If multiple Jackpot winners = The one with most profit wins !
- If equal amount of profit, the first who entered wins !
- No Winner = Jackpot is transferred to next week's contest.
- 100% of This post Liquid Earnings will be added to next week's contest.
- Payouts can be done in Steem Power instead of Liquid Steem.
Guaranteed Prize Pool
A 0.100 Steem @dustsweeper sponsorship for everyone that joins! The Dust Threshold is a rule on Steemit where payouts of 0.019$ or below get turned into dust to prevent spam. Dustsweeper is an initiative that helps to get those payouts above that level. Since current Steem Price does not allow me to upvote each contestant around 0.025$ without totally draining my voting power, I will sponsor everyone who enters around 0.200$ worth of dustsweeper funds.
Monthly Leaderboard Winner
Each month a ranking will be made based on made profit that month. The one who ends up on top will be sponsored 1 Upvote Share that will give out daily upvotes for a long time to come. For more info check what this project is about and follow @upvoteshares . More prizes might be given on a monthly basis and a season Leaderboard will likely also be made and have some prizes.
SBC Exclusive Prizes
The top SBC Member that supports other Community Members will get a 4 week 30SP Delegation. I will give a -1% minimum downvote to the ones that enter without having read the rules just for practical reasons as it saves me a lot of time registering valid entries.
Perhaps we should also upvote just a few of each other's comments? That way we won't need dustsweeper and it helps a bit too build our account.
It's a good idea @crypto-econom1st, I'm not sure how to make this happen though.
I figured the dustsweeper sponsorships would take care of it while at the same time raise some awareness around the dust treshold. I'm just hoping the price of steem will recover for now.
You could mention that in future posts.
And perhaps it helps if I and just a few others set a good example by doing this.

yes it is, it has nothing to do with the account itself though.
in order to keep the contest scam free and make it all much more time efficient for me to run a 0.01$ upvote is the minimum contribution requirement. it is not so much about the upvote itself but more about the fact that this makes it really time efficient to check using @steem-plus.
Without this rule the contest would be flooded by entries of account that have a very high fail rate on Steemit taking away the payouts from accounts that do have a much higher chance of succeeding.
Everyone who is part of the Steemit Betting Community and shows community driven behavior will be able to join regardless the upvote.
It's all a big balance exercise and it is impossible to do good for everyone. This so far has been the best way for me to keep everything clean while the rules themselves are quite fair.
What if you voting power is not upto 0.01 .

The best thing you can probably do since you have sports betting related content is to join the SBC. If you adjust your posting style to the format of the SBC League you will be able to get some upvotes from the @sbcbot and if you show some community driven behavior you don't need to have a 0.01$ upvote to join this contest and you can even get your share of a bigger prize pool.
Another way is to grow your account a bit more first so it reaches a 0.01$ upvote. Right now with the steem price being so lot it requires quite some SP. around 82SP on 90% voting power.

What is Sbctips league
The SBC League can be seen as a contest for people who mainly post bets on Steemit as a way to incentivise a proper way of going about it. There is a unified format for everyone that joins and a daily upvote from the @sbcbot. At the end of the month everyone makes a post with their detailed results (see this post) and some prize money is given away.
And of course save Steem and power up the coming year. I'm quite certain you will have at least $0.01 within the coming 52 weeks.
