the answer is mining,.. without mining there would be no blockchain,.. nor bitcoin, without the internet, the entire concept would be nothing. back to paperwork and files,.. the public ledger, of course the backbone of that are computers and the technology,.. and the backbone of those are human consciousness and progression of thought, bringing the blockchain closer to God (in a sense, IF you believe)
