Sapien Loop 2025 Quiz 7 Answers

in #contestyesterday

Hi Everyone,

Q7_2025_THUMB_Results.jpg

It is time to announce the winner of the seventh Sapien Loop Quiz for this year. It is great to see the participants return after the quiz’s three-month absence. Nobody managed to answer all the questions correctly, but several participants did quite well. This quiz was a little more difficult than usual, as it was focused purely on the new book. I appreciate the time the participants spent reading the book or posts.

How to Play!

Q7_2025_Results_How_PLAY.jpg

For those who did not enter, here is a quick recap of how to play. The quiz contains nine multiple-choice questions. Each question has five possible answers. The participant is required to select the correct answer from the five options. The participant who answers the most questions correctly wins the contest. If there is a tie, the participant who entered first wins. There is also a requirement for the winner to answer at least five questions correctly. This is my way of ensuring that the participants have read the books.

The prize for each contest is 30 Hive Power. For this one, it is 60 Hive Power, as 30 Hive Power has been rolled over from the quiz in June. The entries of the first twelve participants are upvoted.

Explanations

Q7_2025_Results_Answer.jpg

Question 1: This question is from the short story ‘The Twelfth Loop Begins’. In the first paragraph of the story, it describes the Sentray as enormous, powerful, reptile-like creatures.

Question 2: This question is from the short story ‘The Chief in the North’. When Sanguine sees his family being attacked, he charges towards them, and he spear tackles one of them. However, he was unable to fight the three of them.

Question 3: This question is from the short story ‘Let Me Entertain You’. Sanguine explains to his entertainers that he wants them to do more than just entertain. He wants the entertainers to influence how their audiences think and feel. He wanted them to support the elected leaders.

Question 4: This question is from the short story ‘Let Me Entertain You’. Serena and Ginger walked onto the stage of the Ricardo Show to be interviewed. Towards the end of the interview, Serena announces that she is having a baby. A genetically upgraded baby. This baby goes on to become Maskameera Wolf.

Question 5: This question is from the short story ‘The G.O.A.T.’. Lily’s biological parents were very successful Sapiens. They had reached upper management in the Sapien Loop Transport Company. Their reward for their success was to be killed and replaced by two Linap who took their form. It was very common for successful Sapiens to be replaced by Linap if they reached past a particular point in a large organisation. This was done to prevent them from knowing too much about how Sapey was run and to prevent the Linap from becoming exposed.

Question 6: This question is from the short story ‘Welcome to Cellrebrum’. Collingswaggle explains to Pardi that Sapey has moved on from punishing prisoners to rehabilitating them. Cellrebrum Rehabilitation Centre used advanced technology to identify and treat the underlying causes of the prisoners’ criminal behaviour.

Question 7: This question is from ‘Character’s Journeys: Part One’. Daily was captured and taken to the Carvaress laboratory to be experimented on. When the Sentray attacked, he escaped. He saw the twins and their food truck as an opportunity to escape the Capital Region, which had been destroyed. They agreed because they knew and liked him.

Question 8: This question is from ‘Character’s Journeys: Part Four’. Maskameera knew the Sentray were heading to the Capital Region. She used Lily to incite chaos in the other regions and agent provocateurs to enhance that chaos. The Capital needed to send enforcers to quell the chaos. This left the Capital Region vulnerable to the Sentray attack. This led to Pardi’s downfall.

Question 9: This question is from ‘Character’s Journeys: Part Seven’. The technicians were given a drug that enabled them to focus intently on any task given to them. However, this drug also caused them a type of brain damage that made them placid and less questioning of the motives behind the tasks given to them.

The Winner

Q7_2025_Results_Results.jpg

Overall, this contest had eight participants. Three of these participants managed to answer more than half the questions. The winner of this contest is @hatdogsensei. @hatdogsensei managed to answer seven out of the nine questions correctly. Congratulations, you have won 60 Hive Power. I'll pay this out on November 1 (HPUD).

The Sapien Loop Quiz will return next month. The quiz will follow the same format as this quiz. If you want to improve your chances of winning, I recommend that you spend some time on the short stories and character journeys.

The Sapien Loop Series

Loop_Series.gif

I am writing a trilogy of books titled Sapien Loop. The first in the series is Sapien Loop: End of an Era and the second is Sapien Loop: Frozen in Time. I published both of these books as ebooks on Amazon, and I have posted completed chapters to my @captainhive account. I anticipate publishing the third book in early 2027. I expect to title this book Sapien Loop: Worlds Collide. In 2025, I plan to write short stories about some of the characters and their adventures. I will post these to my @captainhive over the course of the year.

Brief Summary of Sapien Loop: End of an Era

Sapien_Loop_Full_Hive.gif

This story is based on the fictional planet Sapia and its sole country, Sapey. Sapey is portrayed as a form of utopia for all its citizens. No poverty. No war. Almost no crime. Opportunities for all.

This was enough for most citizens, but not all. In one of the small regions, some of the citizens had become discontent. They felt something important was missing in their lives. Their discontent did not go unnoticed. Some of the Sapey elite wanted to weaponise this discontent to gain more power. This created more chaos than they anticipated. This led to further widespread social unrest.

On top of the chaos, ambition and greed provoked another enemy. This enemy was on a mission to settle both new and old scores.

Brief Summary of Sapien Loop: Frozen in Time

Sapien_Loop_2.gif

This story is based six years after the original story. The Downs Region is still suffering from a serious health crisis caused by the contaminated water. The main characters are desperately trying to find a cure for the illness that has been caused by the water.

One of the main characters has discovered frozen humanoids in hidden chambers. It appears they have been frozen for a long time. These chambers connect to a vast network of tunnels. While exploring the tunnels, one of the frozen humanoids disappears. It appears he has been stolen.

The story takes a step back in time to tell the story of the frozen humanoids. How and why were they frozen? This part of the story also explains the fall of ancient Sapey and the birth of the Sapiens. Can those from the past be able to coexist with those from the present?
