Someone close to me had a overdose induced NDE and the peculiar thing is they seemed to retain consciousness of who they were *on the other side".
They were still "Bob" in other words. The reason this is significant as some would speculate that we lose our identity im the hereafter but perhaps we don't.
It's interesting to think about. I'll go ahead and give a listen. Sorry if the meme was too flippant considering the depth of the subject matter.

Very interesting about keeping that identity. I think that's part of the NDE stuff people describe where they come back instead of rejoining the absolutely oneness, almost as if they new they were going to come back which is why they didn't give up their "Bob"ness.
