I always look back to the dot com bubble as a comparison.
The companies that survived the bursting of the bubble, were companies that understood what the internet was becoming, and weren’t there just to soak up the speculative money in the short term.
When I look at Hive, I see something different than anything else, with a strong community that continues no matter what the market is doing, and we’re building something for the future we know is coming.
It’s just a matter of time before the number of people who realize the importance of what is essentially a sovereign space online free from corporate control, and then we will be perfectly positioned for that realization.
The key is just not to give up what we got for market gains, and keep building the platform we need to survive the future.
