I was glad to see this development with Creative Coin's CCC cryptocurrency. I'm currently hosting a node for pocketnet.app at home which requires my own electricity, monitoring, and computer online 24/7. Now we can enjoy the world of "cloudstaking" and getting paid just for staking. Most tribe coins require active posting or curating to earn any dividends. I'll continue to post and curate but this is a nice added bonus to set the tribe apart.
