Today i'd like to share some more simple but amazing hacks with you considering there were alot of people who enjoyed my blog on hacks for coconut oil.

My 6 random but amazing Hacks:

Ice cubes:

Reheating rice

If you have leftover rice from the previous day that you want to reheat but dont want it to be dry,add an ice cube or two (depending on the amount of rice) into your bowl and pop it in the microwave. The ice will create moisture when reheating the rice which prevents the rice from being dry and difficult to swollow.

Removing candle wax:

We've all expierenced the frustration sometime in our lives of candle wax dripping onto a surface and not being able to remove the wax properly without some wax residue lingering behind. A simple soloution to this is to put an ice cube on the wax until it hardens then use a plastic card (i.e. a bank card) to gentley scrape the wax off.If you worried about the ice melting onto the surface and creating a water stain then just put the ice into a sandwhich bag and then apply the ice for about two minutes, it works just as well.

Creased clothing:

If you have creased clothes and you are too lazy to iron it or just dont have enough time to do it then just put the creased clothes in the dryer with 3 pieces of ice for 10 minutes.The ice will help to create a steeming affect and all the creases will be removed.

Spagetti

Most of us have candles where the wick is so far down and we cant get to it to light it. This normally results in us burning our fingers or getting frustrated and throwing the candle away. So if this is a problem you keep comming across i have a simple soloution for you. Take a piece of spagetti, light the end of it and then use the lit part to light your candle. It's simple and easy and allows you to get the most out of your candles.

Toilet paper rolls

Seed planting:

If you are into recycling and growing your own herbs this nifty trick will save you money buying little pots to plant the seeds before you transfer them into bigger pots or your garden. This method is also super easy and it looks beautiful. All you need is some glue, a pair of siccors and a toilet roll.

Keep a bathroom fresh:

To make your bathroom smell extra fresh for long periodes of time without having to spray air freshner 24/7 apply some essentual oils (prefably lavender or lemongrass) into the centre of the toilet paper role and it will last as long as the toilet role does. You can aply this method each time you put in a new toilet role or simply when geusts come over.

Balloons:

Get some water balloons and fill them with water and stick them in your freezer. Next time you have a party you can put them in an ice bucket with a bottle of alcohol or juice to keep it cold.

Wine opener?

If you dont have a wine opner or cant use one, get a screw and gentley twist the screw into the cork as deep as possible while leaving a small amount of room at the top. Use a fork to pull the screw and the cork should slip right out.

Nail polish:

Many of us feel the irritation of loosing a button on our favourite jersey or jacket either in the washing machine or just randomly seeing our buttons are gone. In order to prevent this use some clear nails polish and paint over the threads twice and then let it dry. Just make sure you are painting thin layers and not huge blobs or it will come off quickly and it will also be very visable. This nifty trick will stop your buttons from coming off by providing the thin thread with some extra-reinforcement.
