Bismuth has its own dedicated mobile Wallet
For way too long, Bismuth had no proper mobile wallet, or was dependent on third party wallets.
Those days are over!
The new 'My Bismuth Wallet' has been developed by our User RedDwarf as open source: awesome job!
Main wallet features
- wallet seed represents the standard of 'Hierarchical Deterministic' Keys
- Seeds and addresses are compatible with Angainor’s Bismuth Paper Wallet
- QR Code scanner can be used for seed import
- user can choose between wallet password or biometrics
- user can have multiple Bismuth addresses
- Bismuth based Tokens are supported (send/ receive $BIS Tokens)
- BISURL is supported (copy/ paste BISURL for payments)
- QR Code scanner supports BISURL

The Bismuth team is proud to announce that its brand new mobile Wallet, “My Bismuth Wallet” app is available on:

Backup your wallet seed
When you have created a completely new secret phrase (seed), double check that you backup your secret phrase in a non digital manner.
This is the most important step to be able to recover the mobile wallet.
No one else but you is able to recover your wallet.

Do you know what type of wallet was used last time to transfer the price? I hope I have still access.
Check your phone for the Chameleon app because you probably used the now discontinued mobile Chameleon wallet.
I strongly suggest that you transfer your BIS funds from Chameleon to the new 'My Bismuth Wallet'. Currently, the 'My Bismuth Wallet' is only available for Android but we are working on it to also release it for the iPhone.
Thanks, now I remember. When I try to open the Chameleon App, it won´t work, so I guess it means those BIS are gone for good? 😮

Strange that the Chameleon app doesn't open anymore. I also have the app installed from the very beginning and I have no issues opening it and using it.
Probably because in the meantime I have switched my smartphone, so it is no longer the very same app that was installed, but apparently a non-functioning "copy".

Generally I think that is a good idea, I just need to find a way to attract more participants. ^^
