I think the word "legalize" should be replaced with "regulate" or "control" because that is what it means inevitably. There will be no more anonymity or the freedom to buy cryptocurrency without being registered. In the end, we might even see bitcoin transactions being taxed, or even the requirement to register owned bitcoin addresses.
I agree. Eventually, Uncle Sam is going to want his fair share of the profits.
