Problem & Solution, Question & Answer.

Is it possible that if you can express a problem well enough, you’d potentially have already found the solution at the same time? Under a certain framework and within the bounds of expressibility and decidability, of course.

Here’s an excerpt from a page about Descriptive Complexity Theory as found in Finite Model Theory, likely a key topic into unlocking crypto’s potential:-

Computational complexity was originally defined in terms of the natural entities of time and space, and the term complexity was used to denote the time or space used in the computation. Rather than checking whether an input satisfies a property S, a more natural question might be, what is the complexity of expressing the property S? These two issues -- checking and expressing -- are closely related. It is startling how closely tied they are when the latter refers to expressing the property in first-order logic of finite and ordered structures.

Meditate on P vs NP.

After reading the above and doing some of your own digging into the subject, watch the video below by hackdashery while keeping in mind that a blockchain is basically an open decentralised database / network:-

If "P=NP" then the blockchain and the cryptoworld will collapse (the same with credit cards, emails, and internet in general). Because it implies that there will be a way to find (crack) a private key in a reasonable period of time. Then the wallets of all people will be compromised.

The solution would be using very very large passwords with the obligation to change them every week or month.

So, cross your fingers for someone to proof that P is not NP.

think again though :)

Give me a hint ☺

One could presuppose @kevinwong that if we live in an infinite space of possibilities and thus endless timelines that the moment of expressing a problem or wondering at a scenario the creation of a number of realities are born with, answers and more questions.

Sometimes expressing a problem does not mean potentiall you have found the solution but expressing a problems serve as guidline in finding the solution

Good

every problem certainly has a solution that can be solved, this is very good

the best way is to have a solution to every problem that exists
