Human beings are emotional, sometimes to a fault. Suicide over losing money is just stupid, there is always tomorrow, another day, another chance for success. But unless you are in their shoes it's hard to see the situation they are confronting. Their demons on the inside may be much worse. People also often make poor investment choices on sheer emotion, I've been guilty of it before and I'm sure I will be again. It's part of life. Reason would be a perfect way to see and live life, but some of us are just too emotional!
You've had a rough year with some ups and some serious downs, far more than your share. I'm glad you are keeping calm and sticking to your faith, that's very important and will help you through most anything. On Twitter everyday we see people kill themselves because of a loss, either from perps or rug pull, it's crazy, and it's unfortunate. Money or the loss of money makes people take drastic measures including killing themselves.
I've learned to imagine wearing the shoes of others, and somehow that's how we learn sympathy sometimes, unfortunately, the world is not an empathetic place.
Being emotional is a two-way thing and for me it hasn't exactly done more good, so I'm just taking it slowly and trying to take logical steps in these testing phase of my life
