Hello Steemians,
I did another steem voxel art which for you to use if you want to. This time it's an Island of the steem logo. Ever felt that you put all that effort into your post and it get's unnoticed, FOMO (fear of missing out) grips you and you see your peers doing very well while you are left so far behind. Well I am sure everyone who starts out of steemit have been through that.
Channel all that and put a positive twist on it. Get productive, make more good content. Network more, make friends, get active in the community. Never take the low road, there is nothing more annoying than someone complain and beg for upvotes on the discord channel. Don't put too much pressure on yourself, just try to make more today , than you did yesterday.
Anyways, this is my 3D art that I again made with magicavoxel. At first I did it as a desert island but it looked like the guy was sad stranded there. So I added some greens in, in a second version. He's still sad but maybe there is some hope? Feel free to use it for your posts which topic is maybe about "not being noticed on steemit" or "how to survive on a deserted island that looks remarkably similar to the steem logo".

Don't worry, you will find your "Wilson" on the island bro. Then throw wilson the ball to the whale with the hope it will notice you!

Thanks man! Ya, perhaps in the future. It can be a collective purchase by #teammalaysia? Then run it as a resort island where we can operate the island with crypto as well!
Very cool!! What do you think about adding some minnows and dolphins - to capture the full range of people on the steem platform? Unless that's silly......... fades away
Hehe originally I wanted to do that. But I kindda felt it was strong enough already with just the whale. I wanna do another one with the sea animals in an steem aquarium though.

The design is way too cool! Everyone should start with curiosity and enjoy the fun of learning in Steemit instead on the monetization. This will be much enjoyable while earning some pocket money.
exactly @legendchew . The payout is not a given, if you get a good reward for your efforts then nice, if not maybe try again in the next one. If you do what you enjoy on steemit then the upvotes are the icing on the cake.
I can't agree with you enough! For many people this is a place where the more you give the more you get in return. I hope we see plenty of people make use of your skills. You should also check out @steemgigs and @steemfreelancers groups too, and join the #newbieresteemday initiative. Another person who is doing great pixel art is @shoumi and I think you can also think about creating something for people to participate in and establish your brand here :)
@plushzilla thank you for that amazing comment and advice. I will take a look into what you said . People have been telling me about utopian.io but havent got my head wrapped around it yet. Will take a look at the links you gave , thank you!
I would have mentioned creativecommons and slothicorn but I can see you have already got those tags. Utopian.io provides good payout for your contributions but they also have more strict rules around eligibility for payout, but you can certainly use the tag to get more views as well. @newbiegames is great for hosting competitions or participating in games to get some more SBDs, but there are enough art contests and art related groups for you to explore here and on Discord too. Make sure you add @ginabot if you are using Discord :)
