I know its not your video so i apologize if I made it seem like I was attacking you.. but this youtuber is WRONG...

It's okay. You never really know what they could do, Coinbase is such a high traffic site for buying and selling crypto they might have a new IP address for every cryptocurrency on their site. Which if that were the case people could DDoS a specific crypto if they wanted to. Still an interesting point of view if you ask me.

interesting... yes.. accurate No... A flash crash is basically like.... say u had a bot doing your trading...... and all of a sudden... the bot glitched.. and SOLD ALL YOUR STUFF for some CRAZY LOW PRICE...... that prices shows in the market... market falls.. But the Bot Buys it all back equaling out to the price it sold it... It cant be proven but thats the theory behind it.. same thing here... Hackers are good.. But not that good... That thing they can bring down the price of an entire network through 1 Exchange..

Thats like if Hackers hacked ETRADE and brought the price of Google down to 10 cent... but on Ameritrade it stayed the same... NO WAY IN HELL

So unfair...

That makes zero sense..... IF they did a DDOS attack You cant use the service.. your denying / basically cutting the site off.. THat doesn't mean you can USE IT.. That's like when Xbox was being attacked and the hackers were still able to play.. IMPOSSIBLE... it was a glitch.. this happens all the time in the stock market.. maybe someone was lucky and had a Limit order set at that price... but a DDOS attack by Hackers.. THAT MAKES ZERO SENSE ... and it was only on Coinbase that it crashed so low.. other exchanges didn't see this flash crash...

Not again....
