I think long term thinkers should dive in to the use of decentralized technologies in combination with AI/deep learning. The benefits of AI will be improved with decentralized tech AND the concerns around AI can be eliminated.
examples:
-eliminating AI monopolies in big corporations and governments
-enabling control of AI through voting (human voting, no computers allowed ;)) by tieing AI/machines/robots to blockchains so they operate through the human collective so they cannot step outside our consensus

Definitely this combination of technologies is in its infancy. The organizations above are working on projects that will impact the future of the AI and blockchain space; whether or not they accomplish this or others that follow them is another discussion.
