This is a guide on how to use Electroneum's official app and register for their free cloud mining account.
This app is how Electroneum air drops their coins. You could consider it their faucet.
What is Electroneum (ETN)?
If you didn't already know, Electroneum is a cryptocurrency. Also known as ETN.
Electroneum markets themselves as "The mobile based cryptocurrency" and "..the world's fastest and first KYC/AML compliant cryptocurrency". Like most crypto, ETN has a goal of allowing users to purchase everyday items, but they have a focus on topping off mobile phones directly from their app. So far they only have the option to reup your phone for users in Brazil or South Africa, but step by step they are getting regions added. Not in Brazil or South Africa? Just earn and hodl or trade.
Is their app free?
Yes. Simply download and register for an account and they will give a bit of free cloud mining.
How much can I earn?
Users are currently earning approximately $3 in ETN a month.

Sign Up
Once the app has finished downloading open the app then select "Sign Up".
Make sure to use an active email only you have access to and a secure password you will remember.

Once you have finished signing up click "more" from the bottom menu.
Select "Generate more ETN" from the menu that pops up.
Enter "73EBA6" under where it asks for the code of who refered you.

Activate your Free ETN cloud miner
Click on "miner" from the bottom menu.
On this screen you can start/extend your Free cloud mining contract.
You can extend your free cloud mining every 24 hours and need to extend it every 7 day days. If you do not extend your cloud mining before 7 days it will freeze until you do.
This screen also shows you the total amount of active miners and your pending balance. Your pending balance will automatically transfer to your waller once it reaches 100 ETN.
Send and Receive ETN
Click on "wallet" from the bottom menu.
On this screen you can see your total available balance, check your transactions, and send and receive ETN.
To send ETN click on "Pay", enter the ETN address or scan the QR code you would like to send it to, then select the amount you would like to send. Double check thw address and amount are correct before sending.
To receive ETN select "Receive".
From this screen you can see you public ETN address/QR code, select a certain amount to be collected, and import ETN from an offline wallet.

Top up your mobile phone
If you live in Brazil or South Africa you can use your ETN to top up you mobile data directly from your app. Don't live in Brazil or South Africa? Electroneum is working on making this service available to other regions in the future.

I used the app for couple weeks and deleted as amount of mined coins was too low and had to make photo of my face every week.
Is it still like this?
I had to do the photo confirmation a couple times. That was when they first went compliant I think. The app doesnt need to constantly run ans I get about 200 to 300 ETN a month now. More than it used to give before it went cloud mining.
