Crypto-Battle:
The debate between Litecoin vs Litecoin Cash is heating up, and I say it's about time we discuss who's better. First of all, Litecoin is the main currency, and has been set as one of the biggest cryptos out there. Created by Charlie Lee (a.k.a. Satoshi Lite), he has described it to the silver to Bitcoin's gold. With a primary focus of a speedy cryptocurrency at a less expensive trading cost, litecoin has in a lot of ways become way more efficient the bitcoin has. It also created blocks 7.5 times faster than bitcoin.
So as bitcoin cash was a hard fork/improvement of bitcoin, litecoin cash is the aimed at the same thing. However, litecoin cash is less focused on the initial block size, and more focused on mining. Litecoin cash has switched the original mining algorithm of Scrypt to SHA-256. Which will allow for way better opportunities of mining litecoin in that district. Indirectly, this increases how fast miners can solve the block and then making the entire transaction better.
When does this start:
This will start at block 1371111, which will supposedly be this Sunday evening. Making it so that anyone who has some litecoin, will then get 10 times the amount of litecoin cash. Also very similar to what happened when bitcoin cash was released.
What is really better:
In the end, even though litecoin cash is still pretty good, litecoin will for sure be #1. Most likely because litecoin is already a very established crypto (one of the best), and litecoin cash has little to no traction. Also, litecoin has Charlie Lee, and if you have been in crypto long enough, you know that he is a crypto god!!! Once again Steemians, I'll keep you updated, and see you in the next post!

@cryptodj99 Charlie Lee has also came out, and said that Litecoin Cash is an outright scam. I don’t know if he is just salty that someone or a group of people are hard forking his creation, or if is truly is a scam. He notes none of the Litecoin development team is NOT apart of this hardfork project. If I owned any Litecoin I would personally sell it right away. Just because I like the original. I mean either way it’s free money to Litecoin HODLERS. I should probably own a small amount of Litecoin but at the same time I don’t know what it will bring to the table if Lightning Network does indeed pull through for Bitcoin.
Very good points! Ya the lightning network could easily be super bad for litecoin. That is if they don't implement the litecoin network themselves!
