Big kudos to you for learning at such an 'advanced age'. People discouraged me from c++ about two years ago, main argument was I was already 24 and didn't need it.

In my opinion learning about blockchain and how to program inside it, will be profitable in a near future i mean in some years i believe blockchain ingeneers will be very demanded in many kind of companies. Regards

It sounds like you have adopted a pragmatic approach which will pay dividends going forward. Once you master the basics and get a bit more practise the value of Ivan's approach of up front reading will become apparent especially as your projects become more complex. The only thing I would add is make sure you comment your code. This is often an overlooked feature in the whole "learning to coding journey"
